The first step towards The Learning Post Accreditation

Open to any education or training provider in the UK or internationally. Are you ready to show your provision is genuinely connected to the world your learners are entering?

Getting started is straightforward.

Complete the application form – that’s all we need at this stage. No self-assessment, no evidence, no preparation required.

Once we have reviewed your application and confirmed receipt of your application fee, you’ll be introduced to your LP assessor, who will guide you through everything from that point onwards.

The framework document and self-assessment tool are available to download below if you want to explore them before applying - but there is no expectation that you do.

How to apply

  1. Download the application form, complete it at your own pace and return it to us by email.

  2. We review your application and respond within five working days to confirm your application has been received and is being processed.

  3. We issue your invoice - your assessment fee is based on the size of your organisation.

  4. We introduce you to your named LP assessor.

  5. Your assessor sends you full instructions and guidance for completing your self-assessment. Your accreditation journey begins!

Not sure if you're ready?

The self-assessment tool is a good place to start. There is no obligation to apply.

What does the application cover?

The application form is straightforward and should take no more than 20–30 minutes to complete.

It asks for:

  • Basic details about your organisation (name, type, location, size and a brief description of your provision)

  • Your primary contact details

  • The number of staff (FTE) in your organisation, which determines your fee band

  • How you heard about The Learning Post

  • Anything you would like to tell us at this stage‍ ‍

You do not need to complete a self-assessment as part of your application. That comes later, after your assessor has been assigned.
